Safe and Secure Expedition:
Africat does everything possible to ensure that you are well
prepared for your expedition with us and that your trip is
secure and safe as well as highly enjoyable.
Prior to your departure, we will send you an information
package with all information about what you can expect while
on safari and what you need to pack and bring with you.
Our safari vehicles are well maintained and specially
adapted so that you will all have a window seat, access to
roof and plenty of leg-room as well as luggage space.
The vehicles are equipped with cooler boxes and first aid
kits and are thoroughly checked before and after every
safari. Our driver/guides are chosen for their safe driving
skills as well as for their knowledge, experience and client
comfort caring.
Africat tours can arrange for temporary membership of the
Flying Doctors Service of AMREF (African Medical & Research
Foundation). This organization provides air evacuation
services in case of medical emergencies as well as having
highly qualified medical staff and aircrew on standby 24
hours a day.
Their fleet of small planes carry modern medical equipment
and can be converted into airborne intensive care units.
We advise you to take out Travel Insurance to protect
yourselves in case of trip cancellation, airline delays,
lost or delayed baggage and other unforeseeable
circumstances. |
