Africat Adventures invites YOU to join us in some of the most exciting activities and explorations ever undertaken on the continent of Africa. East Africa, and Tanzania especially, is a cornucopia of riches for the perceptive traveler and offers innumerable delights to voyagers of all ages and abilities.

We at AFRICAT fully appreciate that your night of arrival in Africa after so many months of planning is a mix of excitement, anticipation and, let’s face it, some trepidation! Because we want you to feel safe and at home with us from the very beginning, we welcome you to share this very important night with us.

We will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) and drive you to our “castle” for a welcoming drink, a hot shower in your beautifully-appointed room and a traditional dinner with the Africat family, all of whom are ready and able to answer any last minute questions which you might suddenly think of. Next morning you will have a breakfast briefing with your Guides before setting off on your long-awaited adventure.

Your last night before departure from Tanzania will also be spent at Africat's Castle – we want to hear your invaluable comments on the time which you have spent with us. Over a splendid buffet dinner of fresh, locally grown produce, we will celebrate the brilliant success of your safari – and start planning your next Africat Adventure!

Why did we build a castle? Over the years, Africat Adventures has grown in leaps and bounds to become the epitome of excellence in travel which it is today. This meant money, and with our philosophy of African partnership and sharing, this also meant money for our community. So we employed local artisans, bought local materials, worked with local architects and slowly built a beautiful home in a leafy suburb of Arusha for our family - and for YOU!
