Expedition Highlights

Spend quality time observing the great migration, with all the action and drama which takes place on the Serengeti during this amazing period.

Visit Ngorongoro and descend to the Crater floor to observe and photograph some of the thousands of animals (including black rhinoceros) who have made their home in this famous caldera.

Witness the resident wildebeest making a mini-migration across the crater floor in obedience to their ancestral memory.

Search Olduvai Gorge, where Mary and Louis Leakey made their famous discoveries of Zinjanthropus and other early hominid remains.

Learn about these discoveries, the history of which is displayed in text and pictures in the small but interesting museum next to the picnic area overlooking the famous Olduvai “tower”.
