Expedition
Highlights
Experience the exotic in comfort and
style whilst mingling with local tribes and
getting a feel for Africa and her people at
a grassroots level.
Take part in our cultural
program of village visits and hikes which
allows you to experience the lifestyles of
indigenous people whilst, at the same time,
learning much about African farmers and
pastoralists.
View magnificent wildlife in
Lake Manyara
National Park with its myriad
bird species (pelican, stork, flamingo, duck,
ibis, kingfisher, etc) and trace the path of
tree-climbing lions.
Visit
Ngorongoro Crater, just a short drive from
Mto wa Mbu, a unique multiple land-use area
where you can observe a multitude of animals
on the crater floor and see Maasai herdsmen
with their cattle on the rim and in the
highlands; an excellent area for walking and
hiking.
Enjoy
the comfort of your nights on safari
with AFRICAT, in
Lodges & Camps,
both within and outside the parks.
For following the great migration,
we use mobile camps, which enable us
to stay very close to the herds.
During cultural tours you may camp
in a village or spend a night in a
local, traditional house.
